Parkesburg will be celebrating its 150th Birthday in May 2022!
A weekend of festivities has been planned to commemorate the Parkesburg Sesquicentennial on May 20, 21 and 22, 2022.
The Centennial Princess, who was crowned in 1972, will crown
our new “Parkesburg Royalty” on the evening of
Friday, May 20th so that our new King, Queen and Court
may appear the next day in the May 21st Anniversary Parade.
All Parkesburg residents are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Applications, which are available here to download,
as well as, at the Parkesburg Borough Hall and
Parkesburg Library, should be submitted to the
Parkesburg Borough Hall no later than April 30, 2022.
Judging will be based on answers provided by
candidates on the applications. Best of luck!
